Minimum Participants Per Booking: 2 Inclusions: Transfers: 1 z Round-trip transportation from Kota Kinabalu City to Kinabalu Park HQ (Private charter) , and Kinabalu Park HQ to Timpohon Gate (seat-in-coach). Mountain Guide: Private guide for the entire climb. Accommodation: 1-night dormitory stay at Laban Rata Base Camp. Meals: Day 1 – Packed Lunch and Dinner; Day 2 – Supper, Breakfast, and Lunch. - (Day 2 Lunch will be converted to packed lunch for climbers who arrived late and missed the lunch time). Fees: Climbing permit, conservation fees, insurance, and certificate fee. Day 1: Kota Kinabalu to Laban Rata Base Camp 06:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu for a scenic 2-hour drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarters. 08:00 AM: Registration at Kinabalu Park HQ and meet your private mountain guide. After collecting your climbing permit, conservation fees, and ID tag, head to Timpohon Gate. 09:00 AM: Begin the climb from Timpohon Gate (1,866m). Trek through stunning landscapes, from dense oak and chestnut forests to mossy, cloud-laden pathways. 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Arrive at Laban Rata Base Camp (3,272m) and check into your dormitory room. 6:00 PM: Enjoy a well-deserved buffet dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant, then rest up for an early start the next day. (Meals: Packed Lunch, Dinner) Day 2: Summit Attempt and Descent 02:00 AM: Early wake-up call for a light supper and final preparations for the summit climb. 02:30 AM: Begin your ascent to Low’s Peak (4,095m). This challenging climb rewards you with unforgettable views. 05:30 AM - 06:00 AM: Reach the summit and, if weather permits, witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Kinabalu. 07:00 AM: Descend to Panalaban Base Camp for a warm breakfast and brief rest. 09:00 AM: Continue the descent to Timpohon Gate. 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Arrive back at Kinabalu Park Headquarters. Collect your Certificate of Achievement and enjoy a buffet lunch at Liwagu Restaurant. 3:00 PM: Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu, marking the end of an exhilarating adventure. 1. Services Covered Your booking includes only the listed activities. Extra activities or services not included will incur additional fees. Itinerary may change due to operational needs or external factors. 2. Participant Responsibilities Be on time for all activities, including pickups. No refunds for missed activities due to participant delays. Plan for possible delays to avoid disruption. 3. Participation Expectations Join all booked activities. No refunds for skipped activities, regardless of the reason. 4. Health & Physical Readiness Inform Xtreme Paddlers of any health concerns before booking. Those with serious health conditions, pregnancy, or other concerns must get medical clearance. A travel liability form must be completed by all participants. 5. Changes & Cancellations A. Changes to Activity Date Single-Day Trips: Free changes, subject to availability. Notify us 7 working days before the trip. Any extra costs due to changes are your responsibility. Multi-Day Trips: Free changes, subject to availability. Notify us 30 working days before the trip. Additional costs are your responsibility. B. Cancellation Policy Single-Day Trips: More than 3 Days Before: Full refund minus processing fees. Less than 3 Days but More than 24 Hours: 50% refund minus processing fees (if full payment is made). 24 Hours or Less / No Show: No refund. Multi-Day Trips: More than 30 Days Before: Partial refund minus third-party fees and a 10% handling fee. Less than 30 Days Before: No refund. Postponement Due to Travel Restrictions (Multi-Day Trips): You may postpone if travel restrictions apply. Additional costs are your responsibility. C. Cancellations by Xtreme Paddlers If we cancel due to unforeseen events, you may reschedule or get a full refund. D. Late Arrival / No-Show Late arrivals or no-shows causing disruptions will be charged extra costs (e.g., missed transport). 6. Liability Limitations Xtreme Paddlers is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage. We recommend travel and health insurance. 7. Agreement to Terms By booking, you agree to these terms.
