3D2N DANUM VALLEY ESCAPE

Explore the Unique and Tranquil Sights and Sounds of the Oldest Rainforest in Borneo.

 

Day 1

0755hrs - Meet & Greet at Lahad Datu Airport upon arrival and proceed to Borneo Nature Tours office for registration & briefing.

0930hrs - Depart for 2 hours overland journey on gravel road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. This is the largest protected area of lowland dipterocarp rainforest in Sabah, covering 43800 hectares.

1200hrs - Arrive and check in at the Lodge, lunch.

1430hrs - Slide presentation at Conference Room

1500hrs - Afternoon Trek: Introduction to the forest through “Nature Trails” and tree top “Canopy Walkway” 300m in length and 26m at the highest point,

1900hrs - Dinner. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

 

Day 2

0700hrs - Breakfast.

0900hrs - Morning Jungle Trek to “ View Point” for a bird ”s eye view of the area. Descend to the “ Jacuzzi Pool” for a refreshing dip.

1230hrs - Lunch.

1500hrs - Afternoon jungle trek then adjourn to enjoy a relaxing session of “ Tubing ” down the Danum River.

1900hrs - Dinner.

2030hrs - Night walk in search of nocturnal animals. Overnight at Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

 

 

Day 3

0700hrs - Breakfast. Guests at own leisure

1200hrs - Lunch.

1330hrs - Check out and depart for Lahad Datu Airport
